Growing a Farmer Analysis Pt. 2 In the first chunk of the book, Kurt supplied us with the structure of maintaining a farm. He gave the reader the rundown of all things dairy and the process of living off the land. He laid down the foundation, or rather soil,  so that later in the book he could plant a seed in the reader's mind. Oh those farmers!
